The never ending charm of street food stalls..........

No matter how heavy bank balance one has, even sitting in an AC office and owing the most expensive car does not make a difference, for all weekend means, to enjoy at the street side food stalls. This is the craze of street food stalls.
The high profile parties and the dinner at five star hotels have even not lessened the craze and charm of street food stalls. Some street foods are regional, many are not, having spread beyond their region of origin. Street food is intimately connected with take-out, junk food, snacks, and fast food; it is distinguished by its local flavor and by being purchased on the sidewalk. Concerns regarding cleanliness, freshness and hygiene often discourage people from eating street food. But street food often uses particularly fresh ingredients for this very reason. Because of the ultimate success and the evergreen charm of street food stall, five star hotels also started to put up such stalls in their hotel but this could even not make any difference. The flavor and taste of street food are very original and purely of their own type.
In India streets are loaded with food stalls. Throughout the country on every street of every city of every state we do find these stalls. These street food stalls have become an integral part of our culture and tradition, we are being known for these stalls. The most popular Indian street food is Chaat—a generic name for a tangy and spicy mix, whose ingredients can be quite varied. Pune's street food culture includes "Vada paav, pani puri, ragda raav, kutchi daabeli, sev puri, dahi poori, pav bhaji, egg bhurji, chanachur, buddhi ke baal and gola". Whereas on Kolkata streets we can find phuchka, jhal mudi, rolls, mixed vegetable and potato chops, groundnuts, popcorn, and fritters. Karnataka has its own food items such as idli, masala dosa, vada, chakkuli, ragi rotti, jolada rotti, churumuri at street stalls.
With the increasing pace of globalization and tourism, these street food stalls are taking the face of chain business. This new format got started with "Chakh Le India". It has been given the credit of combining romance of the exotic Indian foods with the modern day management practices. "Chakh Le India" provides its customers a wide variety of sweets, snacks, beverages, namkeens and meals. This has marked the beginning of a new era in the sector of street food stalls. These street side food stalls are the evergreen charm of Indian food trend and the streets of entire nation.
